Why is Bon Jovi in Sydney such a big night?
It has been more than eight years since the band last toured Australia. Their 2018 stadium run drew more than 159,000 fans nationally, and this tour follows a sold out run of shows in New York and stadium dates across the UK and Ireland. With only two Australian shows, Sydney and Melbourne, demand is expected to be high, and so is the crowd on the night.
A big stadium crowd means busy roads around Sydney Olympic Park, packed trains and long waits for rideshares after the show. That is where planning your transport pays off.
When do Bon Jovi Sydney tickets go on sale?
Short answer: general sale opens on Friday 23 October at 12pm Sydney time. Presales start earlier for members and selected partners.

PayPal First Access presale: Wednesday 21 October, 12pm Sydney time. A PayPal account is required.

Buying tips
Log in to your Ticketek account before the sale starts.
Know your group size and how many tickets you need.
Buy only through Ticketek, the authorised agent. Be careful with resale listings.
Once you have tickets, book your transport the same day.
How do you get to Accor Stadium for the concert?
Short answer: a private chauffeur is the simplest option, because you are picked up at your door and dropped as close to the stadium as event traffic allows. Train and event buses work well for some people, while driving needs pre-booked parking.
Option | Getting there | Getting home | Best for |
Private chauffeur | Door-to-door pick-up | Pre-arranged return, no queues | Groups, couples, anyone from the Hawkesbury |
Train and event bus | Trains to Olympic Park station, about a 10 minute walk to the stadium | Very crowded after the show | Solo fans staying in the city |
Rideshare | Easy to book, but demand is high | Long waits and surge pricing are common | Short trips, flexible plans |
Drive and park | Pre-booked parking is needed, and it can sell out | Slow exit from the car park | Anyone happy to queue after the show |
At recent big concerts at Accor Stadium, venue advice was not to drive without pre-booked parking, with a public transport network of extra trains and event buses. Event day arrangements can differ, so check the venue and Transport for NSW closer to the date.
Can Chauffr pick us up from the Hawkesbury?
Yes. Chauffr is based in the Hawkesbury and services the region and Sydney. That includes Windsor, Richmond, Pitt Town, Wilberforce, Kurrajong and nearby areas. The drive to Sydney Olympic Park is a long way on a normal day and longer on a concert night, so leaving the driving to a professional makes the trip part of the evening, not the hard part of it.
