1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Chauffr website and services. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
Chauffr provides private chauffeur and transport services, including airport transfers, corporate travel, and private bookings. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.
3. Bookings
Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email. You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking. Chauffr reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). Payment may be required in advance or at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for changes to bookings, extended waiting time, tolls, or extra stops. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the total fare. No-shows may be charged the full fare. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe using the original payment method.
6. Waiting Time
Airport pickups include complimentary waiting time (typically 30–60 minutes depending on service type). For non-airport bookings, a standard grace period may apply. Additional waiting time will be charged at applicable rates.
7. Passenger Conduct
Passengers must: • Treat drivers and vehicles with respect • Follow all applicable laws and safety requirements • Not engage in unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behaviour Chauffr reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a trip if passenger behaviour is deemed inappropriate or unsafe. No refund will be provided in such cases.
8. Vehicle Use
Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Food and drink may be restricted at the driver’s discretion. Any damage caused by passengers (including cleaning costs) will be charged accordingly.
9. Delays and Service Limitations
Chauffr will make all reasonable efforts to ensure timely service. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, accidents, or other events beyond our control. Customers are responsible for allowing sufficient travel time for flights and appointments.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law: • Chauffr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. • Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Chauffr is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. We will make reasonable efforts to assist in recovering lost property if notified promptly.
12. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in that policy.
13. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website or attempt unauthorised access. All content on this website is the property of Chauffr and must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
14. Changes to Terms
Chauffr reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
